MVWSD Parents For ChangeUnited States
Nov 13, 2024

After nearly a decade of parent battles, fiscal mismanagement, dishonesty, cronyism and harm to our schools, the era of Dr. Ayinde Rudolph’s leadership has come to an end.

Amidst the looming threat of a FCMAT Extraordinary Audit investigating potential fraud and other unlawful fiscal practices under his watch, Dr. Rudolph submitted his resignation effective November 1st, 2024.

A Heartfelt Thank You to All of You.
This victory is yours. Your voices, your persistence, and your commitment to holding the system accountable have made this moment possible.

As expected, Dr. Rudolph’s resignation letter makes no mention of the significant harm caused by his tenure—no acknowledgment of the financial mismanagement, the ongoing community conflict, or the damage done to our children’s education.

To add insult to injury, the MVWSD School Board has chosen to keep the events leading up to his resignation confidential, approve a $98,000 severance payment to him, and waive any future legal claims—whether known or unknown—against him.

While this is deeply frustrating, we can still celebrate that this turbulent chapter in our school district’s history is finally over. Our community now has the opportunity to rebuild, restore trust, and focus on the future of our children’s education.

There is still more work to do.   We must ensure that this resignation leads to meaningful reform, not just a change in leadership. The MVWSD Board continues to operate without transparency, failing to hold those in power accountable for their decisions. Instead of taking responsibility for past mistakes and addressing the harm caused, the Board has opted for secrecy and protection of those responsible.

We must continue to demand real accountability and transparency from the Board.  Only through true transparency and accountability can we begin to rebuild trust and create the schools our children deserve.

Please click here to email the MVWSD trustees and ask them for transparency regarding the events leading to Dr. Rudolph's resignation, as well as all honesty and transparency in all future matters.

From the bottom of our hearts - thank you for helping to change our children's schools for the better.
