David Baszucki keeps on making a lot of bad decisions for Roblox. First he forced users to show their face to an AI to determine their age and put them into age groups where you can only chat with certain people which don’t do anything but turn the platform into an apocalypse. Child predators and pedophiles can target children in certain age groups just by changing their age in the birthdate setting. It might be good for some children who are young to have this restriction , but it’s bad for the rest of the platforms. Developers can’t message people who help them, who are in a different age group, and it limits a lot of experience opportunities. This update also broke multiple games on the platform like trading games, social hangouts, restaurant games where you can get payed in Robux for working and talking to users, and other games that rely on socializing. This update also makes it so users from certain countries can’t message users from different countries which also limits socialization. Roblox released what they were going to have as their new update for the platform recently where they are removing classic faces and dynamic heads that don’t move. They say that Roblox allows users freedom to express themselves but they are taking that away from us by limiting our choices. We don’t even know if we will be refunded. This update was completely unnecessary and it seems like they just want to make users mad. Last year, he sent a cease and desist letter to someone who was catching child predators on Roblox and sending them to jail. He rather focus on profits than catching predators. In one of the last few roblox events there was a user who was called TheOfficiaITeddy and they were a developer who made condo games on the platform to perform NSFW acts. They only got terminated and removed from the event after players got mad and developers in the event were refusing to participate. After the termination they unterminated him and then after players got mad they terminated him for good. In conclusion, to make Roblox a better platform, we should remove the current ceo and replace him with someone else who will actually listen to the community and make good decisions for the platform. He’s trying to remove predators from the platform, but clearly sides with them.
