In light of recent news regarding the alleged involvement of the artist D4vd (legal name David Anthony Burke) in the tragic murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, many fans and viewers of the animated Netflix TV show Arcane feel deeply disturbed seeing a song by the accused artist associated with the series. 

Netflix, Riot Games, Tencent and Fortiche have always stood for bringing high-quality content to their viewers (young and old), advocating for impactful narratives through their productions. Including a song by an artist accused of such a serious crime contradicts those values.

The songs “Remember me (Intro)” and “Remember Me” by D4vd currently feature in Arcane and its soundtrack and are still accessible on streaming platforms, meaning Burke is still actively benefitting financially from fans of the show despite his arrest.

Fans do not want to be associated nor support D4vd, financially or socially, we want justice for Celeste. Removing the songs from the series and streaming services is the least that they can do to honor her memory.

We recognize the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in creating Arcane, and that they had no knowledge of D4vd’s alleged crimes at time of production and publication. But now he has been charged (as of April 16, 2026) it is time to remove him from the series and soundtrack.  

We urge Riot Games, Netflix, Fortiche and Tencent to take immediate action in removing D4vd’s's songs “Remember Me (Intro)” and  “Remember Me”  from Arcane, the soundtrack, and all streaming services.
