As an engaged and passionate member of this community, I have witnessed the destruction of bird eggs and habitats, a direct violation of federal protections for wildlife. The Beaver Run Homes HOA, instead of standing in defense of these creatures, have turned a blind eye. Worse still, they have silenced our efforts to bring awareness to this blatant disregard for both nature and the law.

I call on you to join me in demanding the Beaver Run Homes HOA board members be removed immediately. Failure to uphold and respect both homeowner rights and federal wildlife protections should not be the legacy of our beloved neighborhood’s leadership. The Migratory Bird Treaty Act clearly stipulates that the destruction of bird eggs is a punishable offense. This irresponsible behavior by homeowners and the Beaver Run homes HOA board members' disturbing dismissal of our concerns is a violation of this Act. 

The National Audubon Society reports that more than 800 species of birds are protected under this Act. The silence and, worse, the complicity of the Beaver Run Homes HOA board, have endangered those species that call our neighborhood home.
