My daughter, a dedicated and loving mother, now faces the unimaginable plight of handing over her three-and-a-half-month-old baby to a father who virtually remains a stranger to her infant. The father, who showed little interest prior and during the pregnancy other then to bully her causing risky pregnancy, has proven to be unwilling to pay child support or engage actively in his child’s life meaningfully. Despite his documented history of alcohol abuse, nightly drinking & 2 previous dui's, Judge Cotton's ruling has forced my daughter to hand over her baby for seven consecutive days at a time to a man more obsessed with legal maneuvers and avoiding financial support than fatherly love.
