I am an ordinary student who just wants to enjoy a seamless learning experience on my school Chromebook. However, the presence of CK Express and Blocksi has been proving detrimental to my educational pursuit. These tools tend to passionately block essential scholastic websites, preventing students from accessing the relevant educational materials. This is causing a significant toll on our learning process and is quite frankly, annoying. Furthermore, simple joys like playing small time-waster games like Google Doodles and Wordle are also being restricted. We understand the intention behind incorporating these measures is to ensure we focus on studying. Yet, limiting access to educational materials and harmless stress-relief activities is counterproductive. It is notable that a study from the American Psychological Association highlights that short, periodic breaks involving light games can actually improve concentration levels among students. CK Express and Blocksi must, therefore, be revised or removed from our school Chromebooks to promote a more productive, conducive, and enjoyable learning environment.
