For many of us living in Casa Palmera Apartments in Hollywood, this situation has not just become personal, but a matter of safety. Along with other concerned neighbors of mine, I reside in an atmosphere filled with fear due to the continued disruptive behavior of one resident - Carolyn Smith.

To date, Carolyn has assaulted two individuals within the apartment complex and has reportedly been inappropriate with the property manager. As a community, we should strive for peace, camaraderie, and safety. While it's heartbreaking to resort to this, the facts speak volumes about the toxic environment Carolyn's actions create. According to the National Survey on Community Advancement, living in a safe community where people respect each other contributes significantly to the mental health of residents. Instance of violence or misconduct, like Carolyn's, disturb this peace.

It has become abundantly clear that for the safety and well-being of all residents in the Casa Palmera Apartments, Carolyn Smith must be removed, along with her drug use. We, therefore, petition for her immediate and permanent removal from our complex. We urge property management and requisite authorities to take urgent action on this matter.
