Remove author of racist post and for inappropriate conduct involving children
The Issue
Ensuring Integrity and Fairness in Frisco ISD
I lost my job because I stood up for what was right—my students’ success and the integrity of the Frisco ISD curriculum. I advocated for my right to write my own lesson plans and use the Frisco ISD curriculum as intended. However, instead of addressing real concerns, the focus shifted to removing me from my classroom through false accusations and student manipulation.
A Compromised Learning Environment
From the beginning, Principal Nelson denied me the right to write my own lesson plans and instead required me to use materials developed by a much less experienced and incredibly disorganized teacher, Ms. Korkowski. Despite my efforts to follow the district curriculum, I was pressured to adopt alternative materials made by Ms. Korkowski vs. materials made by Frisco ISD. When I did, student failed, leading to stress and frustration among students and parents.
Since my students were failing, I started using the district-approved curriculum 100% and student outcomes improved significantly. However, rather than recognizing this success, I became the target of unfair treatment and retaliation.
Student Manipulation and Ethical Concerns
I was made aware that Ms. Korkowski was meeting with students during tutorial sessions, questioning them about my teaching methods and allegedly incentivizing negative feedback with rewards. Additionally, Principal Nelson escalated the situation by pulling students from class for questioning. These actions contributed to false accusations against me, ultimately forcing my resignation.
Beyond these concerns, Ms. Korkowski publicly posted a racist statement on social media, claiming that while Indian people are good at technology, they "lack humanity." This is especially alarming considering that she used mostly children from Indian descent to help remove a teacher she disliked. It is unacceptable for any educator to make such discriminatory remarks while also manipulating students for personal agendas.
A Pattern of Bullying in Frisco ISD
As I investigated further, I realized I was not alone. Pushing good teachers out of Frisco ISD has become the norm. Many other educators have experienced similar bullying by Human Resources and administrator. Instead of supporting dedicated teachers, Frisco ISD has allowed a culture where favoritism and intimidation drive strong educators away.
This cannot continue. If public schools do not protect their best teachers, they will lose them through private schools as soon as Governor Abbot approves school vouchers. This may happen in about a month.
Call to Action: Demand Accountability
Parents must stand up to protect our education system. We cannot allow dedicated educators to be driven out by unethical alliances or bullying from school leadership and human resources. Racism and the exploitation of children for personal gain must never be tolerated. It’s essential to ensure that all educators are respected and every child learns in a safe environment.
To ensure fairness and protect students, Ms. Korkowski must be removed from her position immediately. Her continued presence in the classroom allows her to manipulate students and influence them unfairly. Furthermore, given her racist remarks, she should not be entrusted with educating the diverse student body at Nelson Middle School.
Signing this petition sends a clear message to Principal Nelson that fostering a culture of favoritism and exclusion is unacceptable. Many teachers prefer to focus on their work and students, not engage in social cliques. Dismissing teachers who don't conform to her social circle must end. We, as parents, will stand vigilant against further instances of this behavior and support teachers who are being unfairly treated. It's easier to replace a Principal, an HR administrator and a Superintendent than to replace dedicated, hardworking educators who make a real difference in students' lives.
By demanding Ms. Korkowski's resignation, we send a clear message: Parents will not tolerate favoritism, bullying, or racism in our schools. But more important, they will never tolerate using our children as pawns.

The attached image is a screenshot of a Facebook post made by Ms. Korkowski on her public Facebook account. A concerned parent brought this to my attention, and I subsequently forwarded the concern to Ms. Nelson in November. Although the post was removed in January, it had been accessible to many parents prior to that time and may still be circulating online. Parents, the issue isn’t a shortage of teachers – it’s a lack of respect for the incredible educators who fight for your children every day.
