On Sunday January 26th, the world lost one of its heroes in a tragic helicopter accident, which also claimed the lives of 8 other precious lives. This tragedy has hit everyone incredibly hard, and as we all mourn the loss of all the lives lost, shock Comedian Ari Shaffir took to social media to poke fun at this horrific event. While shock comedy can be incredibly popular, using the form to celebrate a death while ultimately promoting one's "comedy" is a devious tactic and has no place in this world. 

It's time to take a stand against pretend-shock comedians such as Ari Shaffir and let them know that the world won't stand for such hate. Netflix currently has Ari Shaffir's comedy special titled "Double Negative" on their platform. Let's come together and show the world what we think of actions like this. Please sign this petition to see if we can get his Netflix special removed so that this individual does not feel empowered to poke fun at people's suffering. This type of content is detrimental to society and we must be vigilant in removing it so that those who's lives are affected, do not have to be constantly reminded of this toxicity.
