New enterprises choosing to open here often benefit from incentives unavailable to many of us, simply because they originate from outside our community. This disparity makes it harder for residents to start businesses and contribute to local economic growth.

Moreover, basic amenities, which are crucial for our youth and families, are glaringly absent. Our calls for a community pool or a splash pad for children have been ignored. Such facilities are not mere luxuries; they are vital for community development and fostering a safe environment for recreation.

Given these pressing issues, what can Queensborough expect with another term of overlooked needs and unmet promises? How will this community thrive if we continue stagnating under ineffective leadership?
