The OTC markets place a Caveat Emptor ( CE ) 
Buyer Beware on stocks they believe to be a public interest concern associated with the company, which may include a spam campaign, questionable stock promotion, known investigation of fraudulent activity committed by the company or insiders, regulatory suspensions, or disruptive corporate actions. I have noticed a pattern that these CE’s get placed on stocks on Friday evenings after market closes and by market open the next trading day the stock collapses causing many innocent shareholders significant losses. Shareholders in the US are unable to buy more shares and they are left to only sell. Meanwhile Canadian shareholders are able to buy and sell without any restrictions. Most shareholders are forced to hold their shares for up to a year or longer as these companies fight to regain their Pink status. How is this protection for shareholders? Are all stocks not risky? We are left in the dark while we wait. Where are our rights to choose? Please sign this petition if you believe the OTC Markets should remove the CE badge and give shareholders the right to choose what stocks they want to invest in.
