Removal of Reserved Seats for ST and OBC's from JEE Examination

The Issue

In India there is a huge race for becoming an engineer and mainly every student want to go to the prestigious IIT. Well yes it seems as a simple statement but the worst part is these colleges only have 16,053 seats and the number of students appearing for this exams is a whopping 9,05,590 students, to add more to that these seats have made reservation for the so called backward classes.
We as a new India talk of equality, we say we are all one but finally we ourselves discriminate the "General Category", "The OBC's" and the ST's.

Out of all these 16,053 seats the following is the reservation percentage:
1. SC      - 15%
2. OBC   - 27%
3. ST      - 7.5%
Total =    49.5 % ( 7946 seats)

Therefore total seats left for the general category is 8107. Isn't the drop too much. I don't say they do not have the right to education but rather then giving them reservations maybe if they compete with everybody at the same level and do clear the IIT JEE Examination they should be given concession on fees. Look at the following list:

There is a drastic difference in the cut offs. Look at how low the other classes have to score to get in the same college as the General Category students want to get in.
Imagine how you would feel if you score 98 Percentile and another scores 78 Percentile and gets IIT Bombay, hurts isn't it.
Lakhs of students suicide because of not getting a place in IIT's, and maybe they were brilliant minds and just because our Government wants to help others they loose the best.
We talk about brain drain, most of the students go study abroad and settle there because they know they'll never get a chance in India.
We being the new generation I think its time to act now.
Everybody has the right to education but the one who has potential and their caliber should get what they deserve.

Thank you!
