This petition is purely for the betterment of the ongoing process regarding the rebuilding of the West Colonial Area (including all of College Park). "MotelX Orlando" (919 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32804) is a motel meant for sexual activity. Although it is legal in Orlando to do so, it conflicts with the city's goal to uplift the poor area of West Colonial. Our request is to simply have this location moved to an area that would be better suited for it's business. 

Right next door to this location is a new apartment complex partially funded by the government for subsided housing. There are kids growing up in that apartment complex should not see in their neighborhood. Nor is this motel an attractive site to see whenever tourists visit our city from the west. 

The time is now to active on this issue because the apartment complex "Palm Gardens" wishes to expand to house even more people urgently looking for affordable housing. This motel is working against the goals for a better Orlando
