Good Day Camden Point HOA Board,

This petition is to remove the HOA President Scott Nation and Vice President Larry Hines. Currently the Camden Point President Scott Nation has ignored concerns by HOA members. This was evident by the lack of communication on the issues with the pool during its closer, the upcharging of our own children to swim in our pool as part of the swim team, the contracting of the Vice President to be the neighborhood’s lawn care, handyman and maintenance man.  He also has directed All-In-One Management company to restrict access to some financial (monthly bank statements) from the HOA members. He outright breaks the HOA covenants while parking his golf cart outside viewable from the street, makes home modifications without AAC approval, all while approving violations to everyone else in the neighborhood, even ones that are not against the HOA Covenants. Lastly he has spent thousands of dollars since March of 2024 on legal fees to defend himself and the board. The usage of the law firm on retainer gives the appearance that he is using neighborhood funds and law firm for his own personal preference and protection. If these actions are permitted to continue this could result in thousands more of dollars missing with no accountability or transparency, double standards for the entire neighborhood, and continued preferential treatment of Larry Hines. 

The Camden Pointe HOA Vice President Larry Hines has been contracted as the Camden Pointe Lawn Care provider, while also getting paid to do maintenance, and odd and end jobs. He has for the last 4 years over ran his budget and agreed upon pay. He has threatened our neighborhood swim team unnecessarily and without accountability. His operation as the Vice President requires him per the Bylaws to fill in for the president in his absence which would result in him having ultimate authority on financials, contracts, and all other responsibilities of the President. As stated by the last HOA meeting by the Lawyer who was present, it was agreed that there was a perception of a conflict of interests by Larry Hines continued contract with the HOA and his role of Vice President as the current bylaws clearly state this is not permitted. Since the HOA president Scott Nation will not remove Larry Hines from the board, it is up to the community to do so via this petition. 

In closing there are many neighborhood members who would be honest, honorable, transparent, trustworthy and diligent as board members, all of which we are not getting from the current board. I will advise that signing this petition may cause retaliation by board members, don’t let that shy you away from ensuring our neighborhood is run by more honest people for the benefit of the entire HOA and any form of retaliation is against the law.
