Alfred Kinsey was a scientist and researcher at Indiana University. The sum of his research was geared toward sexual understanding. During these published studies Kinsey participated in and observed the male and female orgasm in participants as young as 5 months old. This blatantly illegal and disgusting research should not be honored in any capacity. Kinsey published his research in 2 books titled Sexual Behavior in Human males (1948) and Sexual Behavior in Human Females(1953). The instillation of this statue, in my opinion, shows that Indiana University Bloomington supports and idolizes pedophilia by giving this man not only an institution in his name but on its 75th anniversary a statue.
