While you might be confused who I’m even talking about some may vaguely remember an old platform fighter 

Cartoon Network PunchTime Explosion (and it’s remaster XL) 

the final boss/main antagonist of that game was a giant tv remote

and from sources say it was meant to be a playable character based on a unseen sound file but was cut 

To my main point 

CNPTE was a platform fighter with characters Warner bros owns 

Multiversus is a platform fighter with characters Warner Bros owns

I see no reason why they couldn’t add that final boss to the game

it doesn’t have a voice actor so they wouldn’t need to find anyone who did a voice and size doesn’t exactly matter as they added the iron giant who towers over everyone else and remote control assuming they wouldn’t change the size a bit would be 3/4 the iron giants height making the remote the second Ginormous fighter 

and the remote has a ton of already existing moves sure they would have to add some but they gave shaggy and Velma of all people powerful fighting moves so it’s not like they can’t just add a few more to the remote 

while it is a not very well known character they added Nubia who I doubt around half you heard of until multiversus announced them sure some of you might’ve but when you think DC you don’t really think of nubia 

 

In conclusion 

the remote control is a pretty great fit for multiversus originating from the previous platform fighter of Warner bros characters as well has having a variety of moves that while they would have to be changed to fit as a playable character would still work and obscurity doesn’t matter as I said above they added nubia 

so if you think that giant remote gone mad should be added to multiversus
