While we got a 7th Gen 'Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection' of Budokai 1 & Budokai 3 on PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360,
Bandai Namco never remastered Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2, yet.

Even though it has mixed reviews from fans and is arguably the least liked critically overall, it is highly underrated for its original content and unique charm.
From Dragon World, the training mode, original content/story and improvements from Budokai 1, it was great!
Not only did it sell over 2M copies at its time, it also sold more than Budokai 3.

Regardless of the faults of the HD Collection,
the lackluster sales of less than 1M, subpar music to the plagiarized original soundtrack,
the disadvantage of it being on 7th gen and for whatever other reason...
I believe that a 9th gen Remaster of the Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection (on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC & Switch),
including Budokai 2 can succeed greatly!

With the Dragon Ball franchise still going strong with the reimagining of the the latest new and continuing games, the manga and future anime, along with Akira Toriyama's memory. RIP to a Legend.
I'm certain that a lot of old and new fans alike would love a full remaster of the original first three trilogy of the Budokai series, because those were the best.
