Relocate Tigers from Denver Aquarium to a Wildlife Sanctuary

Relocate Tigers from Denver Aquarium to a Wildlife Sanctuary
The Issue
I know firsthand what it's like to be deprived of freedom. It changes your behavior and mental health, and I believe the same is true for the tigers currently housed in the Denver Aquarium. These majestic creatures deserve more than confinement within an environment that doesn't suit their natural needs.
Tigers are inherently wild animals, designed by nature to roam freely across vast territories. In contrast, captivity often leads to physical and psychological suffering due to lack of space and environmental enrichment. According to a study published in Nature Communications (2014), captive carnivores exhibit visible signs of stress and anxiety as a result of spatial restriction.
Denver is home not only to humans but also these magnificent creatures who have no voice or choice about their living conditions. We owe it to them - as residents sharing this city - to ensure they live lives that are as close as possible to what nature intended.
Let's urge the authorities at Denver Aquarium, along with local government officials, wildlife experts, animal rights organizations, and concerned citizens alike, that these tigers be relocated from their current confines at the aquarium into a more suitable habitat – a wildlife sanctuary where they can experience life closer akin their natural environment.
Please sign this petition if you believe in giving these tigers a chance at experiencing freedom again – just like we would want for ourselves.
