I am a resident of Lewisville area, Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. My home used to be a sanctuary where I could enjoy the tranquility of nature and the company of local wildlife from my deck. However, since the establishment of the scrapyard on Toombs street, this peace has been shattered.

The constant loud noise that begins early every morning and continues late into the night has stolen our quiet mornings and peaceful evenings. The strong smell of propane gas is at times unbearable. It's not just an annoyance; it's a health concern for all residents in close proximity to this industrial site.

According to Health Canada, prolonged exposure to high levels of propane gas can cause nausea, irregular breathing, fatigue among other serious health issues (source: Health Canada). This is not what we signed up for when we chose our homes in this residential area.

We understand that businesses like this scrapyard on Toombs Street have their place in our economy but they should not be allowed to operate at the expense of residents' health and peace. We are calling on local authorities in Moncton to take immediate action by relocating this junk yard away from residential areas.
