Update to Our Supporters: Thank You + What’s Next
Dear Supporters,
Thank you for your incredible support — because of you, we reached over 400 signatures in just a few days. We're happy to share that Change.org has now reversed the mistaken “victory” status on our original petition, and it’s once again live and accepting new signatures!
But there’s more.
In the meantime, we've also launched a second petition, focused more specifically on challenging the City’s planning and zoning amendments tied to the proposed shelter. This isn’t about being “against” anyone — it’s about holding the City accountable to its own policies, and Major Transit Station Area (MTSA) guidelines.
Why both petitions matter:
The original petition represents our community voice. The second is part of a strategic effort to lobby against flawed zoning decisions that could undermine future development, economic growth, and livability in our neighborhood.
