I have been to the Lynnwood, Washington Chuck E. Cheese and a fan of Chuck E. Cheese for a long time. This place holds a special spot in my heart as it does for many other families and fandom members who have been been to, or seen this establishment since the 1980s. It was not just a restaurant or an arcade; it was a place where we created countless memories with our loved ones.

Unfortunately, our beloved Chuck E. Cheese has closed its doors, leaving us without our cherished gathering place. The closure has deeply affected me, my family, the CEC fandom members, and the city of Lynnwood causing sadness and disappointment among those who held this place dear to their hearts. It felt like a part was ripped out of me and put into the dumpster. It shut down without any warning and I only found out less than a week before its closure. When I went to the building after closure, I saw more than 10 people check the doors to see what it said. "This location is closed." They were all very sad. I saw a five year old girl walk up and try to open the door, and I felt so bad. I don't think that many people in Lynnwood knew that it shut down.

Chuck E. Cheese is more than just an entertainment center; it's part of Lynnwood's history that dates back over four decades ago, and also apart of my family, and many other families history! My new local Chuck E. Cheese is now thirty minutes away from me, when Lynnwood used to be only five.

We understand that businesses close for various reasons but we believe there is still potential for Chuck E. Cheese in Lynnwood considering its historical significance and emotional attachment within the community.

Therefore, we are calling on CEC Entertainment Inc., the parent company of Chuck E. Cheese to consider relocating our beloved establishment within Lynnwood so that future generations can also experience the joy it brings to families like ours.
