These vendors attract loiterers which compromises the security of residents. As we are all aware, there has been an increase in petty crimes in areas with high vendor activity. There has also been an increase in crime within the Skyview community by criminals originating outside of the estate - just this year: the local Skyview shopping mart getting robbed, and residents getting held at knife and gun point to have their personal belongings stolen. This petition calls for the relocation of these vendors to designated marketplaces or zones where they can conduct their business without affecting residential safety and peace. This move will not only improve security but also enhance cleanliness around our homes. We urge local authorities to take immediate action on this matter.
