Relocate Sex Offender Away from Schools in Eastern Passage

Relocate Sex Offender Away from Schools in Eastern Passage
The Issue
Patrick Kingsley Knowles, a convicted sex offender, has been released to a location (Melrose Cres, Eastern Passage) that directly threatens the safety of our children—a street ahead of a school. In this area, there are five schools within a mere 2km radius. This decision not only puts our children's safety in jeopardy but also sends a message of negligence and disregard for community protection.
The presence of a sex offender so close to educational institutions is deeply troubling. Knowles has shown a blatant disregard for the law by violating probation conditions multiple times. He has re-offended on multiple occasions. Such behaviour is an alarming indicator that he may pose an ongoing risk to the community. He is not rehabilitated in any sense of the word.
Relocating Knowles is critical to ensure the safety of the many children attending these schools, as well as to maintain a secure environment where parents feel comfortable sending their children each day. Our concern is not just for the immediate safety of these children, but also for their psychological well-being. Knowing that a potential threat lurks so close to their learning environment can be distressing and anxiety-inducing.
We demand appropriate action to be taken by law enforcement and local authorities to protect our children by relocating Patrick Kingsley Knowles to a more appropriate location where he cannot pose a risk to our community.
Stand with us to ensure that the safety and peace of mind of our children and the larger community are prioritized. Sign this petition to urge for immediate relocation action by the authorities. We need to be the children's voice.
One simple email is a start. Someone who continues to re-offend has no regard for the law or our children.
