I am a resident of Richland, WA, living in the vicinity of Lourdes Cullum House Rehabilitation Home. This facility has been a constant source of disruption and concern for our neighborhood. From parking issues to violent outbursts from patients, we have experienced it all. The staff members are often inconsiderate and their actions pose a potential threat to the children in our community.

I have personally made three documented calls to 911 due to violent incidents involving both patients and staff. Furthermore, the facility's occupants frequently park their vehicles in front of my driveway, obstructing me from either pulling out or parking in my own home.

More concerning is that this has turned our peaceful street into a high-traffic area with patients wandering unsupervised at all hours of the day and night. This situation not only disrupts our peace but also raises serious safety concerns.

We understand that rehabilitation homes play an important role in society by providing necessary care for those who need it most. However, such facilities should be located where they do not negatively impact residential communities' quality of life or safety.

Therefore, we call upon local authorities and relevant stakeholders to take immediate action on this matter by relocating Lourdes Cullum House Rehabilitation Home away from residential areas.
