This petition is being generated on behalf of the residents of Whispering Pines who are being adversely affected by the ongoing vulture problem at the intersection of Ainsley Avenue and Rothbury Drive.

They have taken up residence here over the course of the past two years and numbers have continued to multiply due to nesting.  They have gotten brave and confrontational w the pets safely contained w/in the boundaries of their own yards, causing injury to at least one pet requiring emergency vet care.

These birds continuously congregate on the ground in backyards during the day and upon rooftops all hours of the night, leaving streaks of feces visible from the roof.  This also causes damage to shingles / rooftops.

Villagers are limited in how these birds may be handled due to Federal Protections and noise ordinances.

We hereby petition the Village of Whispering Pines to address this issue in a timely manner for the health and safety of all residents within this community.
