There are several thousand Vocaloid fans in the United States, and countless millions worldwide, who want to use official Vocaloid software. Not just musicians, everyone. Kids sing Vocaloid songs like "The World is Mine". Teenagers buy the keychains off of sites like Amazon, Adults proudly wear t-shirts emblazened with the images of Miku Hatsune and other Vocaloid characters.

But the U.S. economy has been hit hard, and the average Vocaloid fan can't afford $200+ per Vocaloid DVD. Most fans don't want to turn to sub-par alternatives like Pocaloid and UTAU, they want to legally buy the official Vocaloid releases.

Fans of Vocaloid should NOT be shunned just because they aren't rich musicians or part of a corporation like Sony, who uses the software frequently.

Please sign the petition and tell Yamaha, Crypton and AHS that there is a market in your country for Vocaloid, and we all want to buy the software at a fair price. $50 or less would be a large enough sum that these companies can make a good profit, while low enough that more people would be willing to buy it legally. A lower price would also entice more people to legally try out other Vocaloid voice banks.
