Release the Maria Dew Report into Sam Uffindell in redacted form. There is no risk to anyone's confidentiality if the report is redacted. There is certainly no risk to anyone's confidentially if the Terms of Reference are released. There is only a political risk to Christopher Luxon from redacted transparency. The woman and her father making the central allegations in 2003 have said they want the report released in its redacted form. They have spoken out in public to RNZ. They want the facts to be known. There is no good reason for Christopher Luxon to continue to refuse to release the Terms of Reference, The Executive Summary and the Redacted Report. National Party MPs did not even read the report yet still decided to re-instate Sam Uffindell to a position of power. That is wrong. The over-emphasis on secrecy by Christopher Luxon has created a perception that natural justice has not been served in the eyes of the public. Public interest and the rights of the potential victim have been dismissed in a very unfair and secretive process. That's not good enough and needs to be corrected.
