As a huge fan of Robot Wars, I feel every episode of the show should be released on Netflix. I know there are many other fans that feel the same, and I think there are a number of reasons why Netflix would benefit from releasing the entire series.

1) Robot Wars had a considerable cult following before the show was rebooted in 2016, and the recent series has meant even more people are now fans. The recent series regularly attracted over a million viewers.

2) Interest in Robot Wars and robotic combat never died out after the show ended in 2004 - not just on the internet, but a large of community of live events which kept the sport active. These events are still going strong now.

3) As you can see on the Robot Wars wiki, Robot Wars has a very in-depth following, with fans keen to learn as much as possible about the series. Releasing the episodes would be a good way for the BBC to make money off this. If they have behind-the-scenes footage and information left lying around, they could include  these as special features. I and a lot of Robot Wars fans would pay to see things such as photos from the qualifiers and deleted scenes. These could be included along with the episodes, to encourage people to pay for them, as opposed to watching them for free on YouTube

4) Old episodes on YouTube have thousands upon thousands of views.

5) Repeats of Robot Wars proved very popular on other channels, particularly Challenge, which originally only bought Series 2, but the success of the repeats of that series led them to buy Extreme 1 through to Series 7, then later the rebooted series.

6) Mentorn are trying to find a new home for the show after the BBC dropped it. If the episodes are released and become a big success, that may help convince television channels to pick up the show.
