19-year old Terrell Thompson life was taken away from him along with a police officer when they were both shot in Milwaukee on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023.

The media says that Terrell was a robbery suspect. He wasn’t. Terrell had permission to use his girlfriend’s car to drop his cousin off after helping her move when they had a disagreement she got upset and called the police, knowing terrell had just been put on probation that day and was scared. The police went after him and Terrell tried to run off because he was already on probation and afraid of going to jail. Terrell and Officer Jerving had a disagreement which led to them both being shot.

Terrell was left to lay on the snow for 10 hours. The police later stormed into his Mother’s house, trying to look for “something.”

Since then, Terrell’s family has gotten threats. They realize that Terrell’s actions may have led up to what happened and they send their condolences to the family of Officer Jerving. All they want are answers.

When I asked if the family could please see the police and body cam footage, the Milwaukee Police Department refused and said that they would release it to the public 45 days after the day it happened.

Terrell’s family really does realize some of his actions may have contributed to what happened in this tragic event, but they have the right to know and see the body cam footage from the night Terrell and Officer Jerving were both shot. As of now we don’t know where his gunshot wounds were located. Why his body set out in the snow for 10 hours. MPD has shown zero compassion to this family. The family want answers they need closure. The Thompson family sends sincere condolences to officer Jerving family and friends as well. Both sides needs healing. Our prayers are with both families.
