Nowadays, the ability to own our media as physical commodities is not a guarantee and a particular movie where I see this as a true shame is 'Saltburn', directed by Emerald Fennell.

Between the cinematography and intricate sound design, this movie deserves to be experienced in the highest quality possible. It is disheartening to think that viewers are limited to enjoying this visual masterpiece through streaming platforms that do not do it justice, especially since the movie was shot on film.

For collectors, cinephiles, and fellow weirdos who also just love this movie, a physical release would  garner renewed buzz, generate additional profit, and give Saltburn the high quality release it deserves for the effort and talent that was poured into it. 

I urge production companies and distributors to consider the significance of providing 'Saltburn' as 4K physical media and that they consider to continue this practice for all movies in a world where the sentiment of physical ownership is having a noticeable revival.
