Release Julia Bevely from prison

Release Julia Bevely from prison
The Issue
As a mother, I am deeply concerned about the case of Julia Bevely from Illinois. Julia, a mother of four, has been incarcerated with accusations that have no strong evidence against her. The fear of losing a family member to a system that does not value the need for concrete evidence before taking someone's liberty is chilling. This is not just about Julia; this is about all of us and the sanctity of justice.
Julia's case is riddled with uncertainties and lacks substantial evidence. There appears to be no direct link between Julia and the crime she is accused of. Her unjust imprisonment highlights a fault in our justice system where individuals can be wrongfully detained without credible evidence.
Statistics show that wrongful imprisonment is a significant issue in our country. According to the National Registry of Exonerations, more than 2,800 people in the United States have been exonerated since 1989, with many cases stemming from weak prosecutions and lack of evidence. Julia Bevely's incarceration may well be another instance of this alarming trend.
Julia's children are growing up without their mother, a significant trauma that no child should endure. The emotional and psychological impact on her young ones is immeasurable and irreversible. It is vital for the essence of family and community that Julia returns home.
Action from authorities can change this narrative. By re-examining Julia's case and ensuring a fair and evidence-based review, justice can be served. It is crucial for the public and those in positions of power to act swiftly.
Join me in calling for the release of Julia Bevely and demand a proper and fair judicial review. Your voice can make a difference in reuniting a family and upholding justice. Please sign this petition today.
From Julie’s mother
Hello everyone. I know we're all waiting for the 5th District Appellate Court to make their decision on Julie's case, it is definitely a slow moving process. Julie and myself have a small request of those in support of true justice for both her and Jade. I have attached links to emails for the office of Gov. Pritzker. We need to write to him as long and as often as it takes for him to look deeper into her case and the lack of due process for her in Williamson County IL. We need attention brought to the corruption and the major violations of her civil rights and the lack of her pretrial presumption of innocence. The atrocities in Julie's case are at max level. We all need to get Pritzker's attention on this ASAP. Thank you all. If you can find more links to reach him, please post in the comments for everyone to access.
