I am a Baloch from the occupied Balochistan. Balochistan is a country which has been occupied by Pakistan. The situation of law and order in Baluchistan has been deteriorating since the beginning of its occupation by Pakistan. The Pakistaniintelligence agency is using enforced disappearances to suppress the voice of dissent, students, women and kids those who demand justice are whisked away whether they will ever live to tell their tale is at the whims of their captor or they shall remain disappeared while their families shall wait till eternity for their safe arrival. It is saddening to note that the agencies official shows no remorse for their action rather they believe it to be their duty to disappear whomsoever they feel like. Leaving the legal and moral modalities at the back burner the agencies are empowered to use all tactics to suppress the people of Balochistan. The human tragedies continued even though the Government accepted recommendations which were made by the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances (WGEID) in its Universal Periodic Review to specifically criminalize enforced disappearances. However, the effort was ineffective because no effective implementation or real actions were done to establish disappearances a separate criminal offense in Pakistan. Pakistani law makers try to introduce a bill on missing person but the bill it self-went missing.

The new wave of enforcedly disappeared Baloch student/women is concerning, Baloch students have been abducted by Pakistani army from universities in Punjab, Sindh, and Baluchistan.

The link above is the statement of Amnesty South Asia showing their concern on abduction of one of Baloch student. He was lucky because his abduction video came on surface and amnesty also showed their concern so later he was released but there are thousands of Baloch are still missing including women, kids and men. Pakistani army abduct Balochs on daily bases.

Due to media blackout in Balochistan by Pakistani army, international community is not aware of suffering of Balochnation. Our voices have long been unheard. When a Baloch get abducted by Pakistani army it’s not only he who suffers in Pakistani torture cells but also his all family suffers too, Our mere existence is seen as a crime by Pakistan.
