Rejuvenate Pariki Cheruvu Lake – Protect 30,000 Families from Health Hazards!

Pariki Cheruvu has become a serious health hazard for over 30,000 families due to an open drainage system connecting directly to the lake. The entire lake is covered with water hyacinth, has turned into a garbage dump, and is filled with debris. This has led to severe mosquito breeding, causing major health risks for the surrounding residents.

We urge the authorities to rejuvenate the lake and construct a protective bund. This will not only prevent further pollution but also allow for the development of a walking track, plantation, and an open cultural space for the community.

We have already raised this issue with the Zonal Commissioner of Kukatpally, but we need stronger action. We request the government to allocate funds and take immediate steps to restore the lake.
