Hearing tomorrow night at 7:30pm

Good evening neighbors just a reminder to show up to public hearing tomorrow 9/12 @ 7:30pm wearing green in opposition to rezoning and develop plot next to Mary's Creek. 911 Winscott Rd, Benbrook, TX. (City Council meeting hall) Please show up if you can. Make them look us in the eye when they decide. The more I research the changes being proposed I am very scared. They are going to reshape 36+ acres of land in a floodplain, reshape the creek and build 30 ft walls. All hoping that it won't impact anyone downstream. Risking our homes and lives! Not to mention bull dosing 50 acres of trees and displacing wildlife. Wearing green will show we are united to fight. This is just the beginning of a long process. But it might be the last time the City of Benbrook opens a public forum to hear from us! You don't have to speak but showing up speaks volumnes to them. I met with City Manager, Planner, Engineer and they are actually suprised more concern isn't being raised by the community. Thanks all, see you tomorrow night!
