Dear Friends & Neighbors of Sand Pond,

I hope you're enjoying winter so far!  I wanted to update you that in a recent meeting, we decided to officially form the Sand Pond Association to protect, preserve and responsibly enjoy this little piece of heaven called Sand Pond.  The Board is working diligently toward formally establishing the group and soon I'll be sending info on how you can join our membership to support our volunteer work.

Meanwhile, so far the proposal to build a large campground on Sand Pond has not been presented to the town, which gives us a little more time to get organized.  But it will likely happen soon and when it does I'll let you know.  Thank you for signing our petition and let's keep up the good work at preserving the natural beauty of Sand Pond in Maine for all to enjoy.
