Reject plans to destroy Mobberley Village by building 365 new houses

Reject plans to destroy Mobberley Village by building 365 new houses
The Issue
Cheshire East Council's Strategic Planning Board will meet on 12 November to vote on whether to approve a plan to build hundreds of new homes in the small village of Mobberley. The report from the town planners recommends APPROVING the plans. This must not happen!
The site is simply too big for a small village like Mobberley and will destroy the character of the village and turn it into a town. Local amenities are already stretched and traffic issues on Mobberley Road will be made even worse, our tiny village roads will come to a standstill. There are hardly any ‘affordable homes’ in the plan and as part of the development a large portion of greenbelt land will be destroyed forever.
However the biggest problem with the site is it's right under the flight path for Manchester Airport. The councils own Environmental Health team have told them to reject the plan, as aircraft noise is so loud people can't have a conversation 1 metre away from each other. The airport will only get busier in the future and we will be condemning thousands of people to the misery of aircraft noise for years to come.
