Reintroduce the VideoNow Personal Video Player

Reintroduce the VideoNow Personal Video Player
The issue
I just ordered a VideoNow Player on eBay, and I'm eagerly awaiting its arrival. As soon as I try it for myself, I plan to pitch ideas for a new version because I passionately believe in bringing back this nostalgic piece of technology that defined a generation. I am too young to remember it but For those of us who grew up in the 2000s, the VideoNow Personal Video Player holds a special place in our hearts. It was a pocket-sized device that allowed us to enjoy episodes of our favorite shows like Jimmy Neutron, Fairly OddParents, The Amanda Show, and All Grown Up. There was also the VideonowXP which can play quizzes hidden inside the PVDs
Discontinued in 2007, the VideoNow was overshadowed by the rise of devices like the iPod. However, for collectors and enthusiasts, this discontinuation felt unfair. Many of us wanted to keep expanding our collections and immersing ourselves in the simplicity and joy it brought.
Now, as streaming becomes less appealing due to rising costs and questionable practices, this seems like a perfect time to reintroduce a beloved format from the past. Imagine a VideoNow with higher capacity, more durable video discs, better picture quality, even more compact design, and enhanced features like better shock protection. How exciting would it be to have more types of discs, including visualizers for music albums and even full-length movies?
Plus, The People Who Had a VideoNow in it's Heyday are now adults, why not release a few adult shows on the Videonow too to broaden it's appeal to Singles who still want a player but want something aimed at them or for parents to borrow the player and watch while the kids are at school or asleep
By revamping and re-releasing the VideoNow, Hasbro can tap into the growing nostalgia for retro tech while meeting the needs of modern-day users looking for simple and collectible media formats. Let's show Hasbro the demand for a new and improved VideoNow. Please sign this petition to bring back a cherished icon of our childhood! #Bringbackvideonow
