As a little child, I used to anxiously look forward to the mornings. Yes, odd, isn't it? But my morning ritual was special. I would sit at the breakfast table and pour myself a bowl of Kellogg's Smorz cereal, savoring each bite of those crunchy cereal squares and delicious marshmallows. The excitement and joy of eating Smorz cereal was an integral part of my childhood, and I know it was the same for many others as well.

However, much to our disappointment, Kellogg's decided to discontinue producing Smorz cereal. This decision has taken away a piece of our childhood nostalgia. According to Statista, cereal remains one of the most popular breakfast choices in the United States, with 283.37 million Americans consuming cereal in 2020. The cereal industry is a huge market that positively impacts the economy, and bringing back Smorz cereal can add to that impact both economically and emotionally for people like me who grew up loving this cereal.

Being widely loved, the discontinuation of Smorz cereal not only impacts the day-to-day lives of many Americans who enjoyed this breakfast staple, but also robs future generations of the opportunity to experience its unique flavor.
