Just recently, an important bus stop was taken off the route for Sovi Village. This was the main stop for all art and music majors. Other students used this stop as well to reach places such as the food pantry, student health services, and the library. Instead of creating a positive solution and reaching out to the residents of Sovi Village, the school decided to post on social media this new change. It seems as though they did not calculate the number of students who frequently use and rely on this stop. With this stop gone, it forces students to walk to The Bower School of Music and surrounding buildings. Music majors now have to lug their instruments and heavy textbooks, art majors have to carry their portfolios and supplies in the potential bad weather conditions. If it rains or it's very hot and humid, the instruments and art can be ruined.
