Reinstate Zouhir Bouzaza as Hillsborough High School's AP French Teacher

Reinstate Zouhir Bouzaza as Hillsborough High School's AP French Teacher
The Issue
Zouhir Bouzaza, a successful and beloved AP French teacher, plays a significant role in the Hillsborough High School community. With dedicated teaching methods and an enthusiastic approach, he has brought immense success in the subject among his students. Academic records will demonstrate an increase in both student interest in French as a subject and improvement in French scores under his guidance.
As for me, under Mr. Bouzaza, my French grades have never been higher. French has always been one of my sore spot for me. For the first time in my entire academic career, in the eight years I've been taking French, and in what should be the hardest French class, French was my highest grade out of all my classes. I used to get around the low 80's range. In Mr. Bouzaza's class, I would regularly get A+'s, and my lowest grade for a marking period was a 90.
This is also the case for just about every other student in all of his classes. Mr. Bouzaza had a profound knowledge of the French language, as it was his first language in his home country of Algeria. With his instruction, it can be estimated that the average overall grade of the AP French classes went up about 15%.
However, the sudden removal of Mr. Bouzaza from the AP French teaching post has left a void in the program. His departure impacts not only the currently enrolled students but also future pupils who were eager to learn from such an accomplished educator.
We believe in the merit of having dedicated, experienced educators at the helm of advanced programs, and the reappointment of Zouhir Bouzaza to the AP French teaching position will be a step towards maintaining the high standards of education expected at Hillsborough High School.
We urge the Hillsborough High School administration and the relevant educational bodies to reconsider their decision and reinstate Zouhir Bouzaza to his previous teaching position. Please consider this plea and sign our petition to demonstrate your support for quality education.
