I am left in the dark about the specific reasons why sharing a link to my scholarly work resulted in the suspension of my account. Meta/Facebook claims that I violated Community Standards concerning "cybersecurity" but have failed to provide any concrete evidence to support this claim.

This action raises significant concerns regarding the freedom and protection of dissident scholars who investigate and write about cultic networks. This isn't just about restoring access to my personal social media account—it's about the broader implications for academic freedom and transparency in actions taken by social media giants like Meta/Facebook against scholars delving into contentious subjects.

Therefore, I am calling on Meta/Facebook to immediately reinstate my Facebook account and provide complete transparency regarding the supposed violations and the reasons behind their action. It's crucial that social media platforms uphold the freedom of speech and ensure protection for those who are courageously exploring sensitive and controversial topics.
