In 2019, I experienced a moment that would unknowingly become a treasure to look back upon; it was the last time I spent with my beloved aunt, who tragically ended her life in April 2023. During that same visit to Disneyland that same year in July, we were mesmerized by the World of Color - One show, a vibrant and captivating performance that resonated deeply with us and countless others. The show’s core message, "to make a difference and make your own wave," sparked a profound connection within us, and it feels like a fitting tribute to reignite this performance in honor of her memory.

The World of Color - One show is a kaleidoscope of iconic Disney scenes and musical numbers, ranging from the timeless wisdom of Pocahontas' Grandmother Willow, to the cherished family bonds experienced in Encanto with the madrigal family, to the delightful antics of Remy and Emile from Ratatouille. Each segment enchants its audience, earning the show a rating of 8.5 out of 10 and being cherished by fans around the globe.

it has, starting in January 2026, it’ll mark 3 years since world of Color - One’s debut since January 2023 versus when I saw the Show on July 2023 for my 25th Birthday.

The show opens with Walt’s words, reminding us of his greatest reward—making the world a better place.

The unfortunate Departure of this show leaves a void not only in the entertainment landscape of Disneyland but also in the hearts of visitors yearning for experiences that foster hope, joy, and a sense of togetherness. By reinstating the World of Color - One show at the Disney California Adventure Park for the fiscal year 2026, we are not just bringing back a beloved piece of entertainment; we're restoring a beacon of inspiration for many who visit the park.
