Reinstate the Original Smith-Mundt Anti-Propaganda Act

Reinstate the Original Smith-Mundt Anti-Propaganda Act
The Issue
Elections are less than 6 months away and the PROPAGANDA IS COMING!
Propaganda is by definition the dissemination of information—facts, arguments, rumours, half-truths, or lies—to influence public opinion. Deliberateness and a relatively heavy emphasis on manipulation distinguish propaganda from casual conversation or the free and easy exchange of ideas.
In 1948 The U.S. Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 (Public Law 80-402), popularly called the Smith–Mundt Act, was first introduced by Congressman Karl E. Mundt (R-SD) in January 1945 in the 79th Congress. It was subsequently passed by the 80th Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman on January 27, 1948. And in 2012 Congress passed and Obama signed into law overturning the bill that protected us from governmental propaganda and as of July 1, 2013 the mind games began! “Put on the full armor of God, so that you are able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”
Ephesians 6:11 TLV
The Smith-Mundt Act of 1948 was designed to protect American citizens from government propaganda by prohibiting the domestic dissemination of materials intended for foreign audiences. However, in 2013, amendments were made that effectively lifted these restrictions, allowing government-produced content to be broadcast within the United States. This change undermines public trust and threatens democratic principles by blurring the line between information and propaganda. Please Help Reinstate the original provisions of the Smith-Mundt Act to ensure transparency and uphold our democratic values. Sign this petition to demand action now!
