As a passionate fan of the original Mister Rogers Neighborhood, I,  Christian Brown

I am Christian Brown , am deeply disappointed by its replacement with the Daniel Tiger ride at Idlewild and SoakZone. This change has stripped away a piece of my childhood that was not only entertaining but also educational. The original ride was more than just an amusement; it was a journey through a neighborhood of make-believe characters that taught us important life lessons.

The Mister Rogers Neighborhood show aired for over 30 years and reached millions of households across America. Its impact on early childhood education is undeniable. According to a study by the University of Kansas, children who watched Mister Rogers Neighborhood showed higher levels of empathy compared to those who didn't (University of Kansas, 2017). 

By reinstating the original ride with its beloved characters in their authentic form, we can continue to educate our children in this unique way while preserving an iconic piece of American television history.

We urge Idlewild and SoakZone to consider this plea from fans like myself who believe in preserving this cherished legacy for future generations. Please bring back our be loved Mister Rogers Neighborhood ride! Sign this petition if you agree.
