I am a loyal customer and part of the broader consumer family who have consistently enjoyed the “Ol’ Glory” Energy Drink. A large part of the charm was its original design. It was more than an energy drink to us, it was a refreshing symbol of patriotism with a nostalgic touch.

However, the recent changes to the design have stripped the product of its charm and identity. Customers are not just purchasing for the energy boost, but also for the experience the brand provides. It's not only the taste that leaves a lasting impression; the design plays an integral part as well. It's what draws us in initially and part of what keeps us coming back.

Considering we are among millions who consume energy drinks routinely, it's alarming to witness the dismissal of our preferences. Market research firm, Mintel, reports that energy drink sales have surged to $14.2 billion in the United States in 2019, showing a popular demand for these drinks (source: Mintel, 2019).

By bringing back the original design of the “Ol' Glory” energy drink, the company stands a better chance of retaining its loyal customers, while demonstrating respect for their preference and emotional attachment to the brand.
