It has recently been announced that Adelaide and Perth will be missing out on the Laneway Music Festival in 2027. To skip out on these two major cities means that thousands of consistent Laneway attendees and new music festival goers will miss out on what is a well deserved Australian summertime classic festival. 

To cancel the festivals in Adelaide and Perth is not only  hugely disrespectful to the cities but reaffirms the increasing and alarming decline of the arts in Australia. 

Adelaide and Perth deserve to easily access live music and Laneway festival should not only recognise this but reinstate it for 2027 and all the years to come.
