Close to 40,000 Signatures

Dear All,

The 'Reinstate Sangita' petition has now been in place since 22nd April, in that time we have:

• Collected close to 40k signatures
• Attracted the attention of most of the digital and print media major titles
• Gained millions of impressions and views on TwitterX 
• Prompted the publication of a letter of support for Sangita from multiple celebrities, journalists and campaigners
• Seen Sangita appear in public twice - it is good to know she is not hiding away

The petition remains in place, despite the fact that we know LBC will not reinstate her, and are pretty certain Sangita would not return if invited anyway. The petition will stay for a little longer, as it is still being quoted and is likely a painful reminder to LBC that many listeners have voted with their ears and switched off. 

Thank you all for your amazing support, I am confident that Sangita would pass on her thanks personally if she were able to do so.
