Firstly, thank you all for supporting my petition, it has achieved far more than I had anticipated in terms of number of signatories, signatures from some high-profile people, but most of all the awareness of the sudden disappearance of Sangita from air
We’ve listened to Sangita for almost two years, I’ve no doubt she’s humbled by how much we miss her on air.
Whilst we are passed the point where LBC are likely to reinstate Sangita, the petition will remain active to demonstrate to LBC Management how popular she is and that we, the listeners, miss her.
It’s with sadness that I report that some LBC presenters appear to have begun to publicly undermine Sangita and her listeners. We’ve been described by one as conspiracy theorists for asking why she abruptly disappeared from the schedule and asking if she can be returned to the airwaves.
Thank you again for your support, it was only supposed to be a small personal protest, but the sheer number of people who have responded is true testament to the esteem and affection that we clearly hold Sangita in.
