Mr. Reinaldo Tripplett, the heart of Benton Harbor Area Schools, has been an instrumental figure in providing quality education to our students. His commitment and passion for education are unmatched. Our community has flourished under his guidance, and his removal from the position of Principal was unexpected and deeply disappointing. 

We, the undersigned members of the Benton Harbor community, including students, parents, educators, alumni, and concerned citizens, respectfully request the reinstatement of Mr. Reinaldo Tripplett as Principal of Benton Harbor High School.

Mr. Tripplett has dedicated decades of his career to the betterment of Benton Harbor students and the community at large. His extensive professional experience, leadership, and unwavering commitment to student success have left a lasting impact on our school and its culture. As a transformational leader with expertise in student engagement, curriculum development, teacher effectiveness, and community involvement, Mr. Tripplett has been instrumental in fostering an environment where students are motivated to learn and achieve.

During his tenure, he spearheaded numerous programs that enriched the academic and social experiences of our students, including:

• Actively recruiting students to increase enrollment at Benton Harbor High School.
• Implementing restorative justice programs to build relationships and accountability among students.
• Developing after-school course recovery programs for at-risk students.
• Increasing student participation in standardized testing, boosting academic achievement.
• Strengthening parent and community involvement to support student growth.
• Enhancing school culture through innovative engagement initiatives such as "Restore the Roar."

Mr. Tripplett’s leadership has significantly contributed to the stability and improvement of Benton Harbor High School. His removal has left a void in our community, affecting both staff and students who have greatly benefited from his presence, guidance, and advocacy.

We firmly believe that reinstating Mr. Tripplett as Principal will restore progress, stability, and morale within the school. We urge the Benton Harbor School Board and relevant authorities to take immediate action to bring him back to his rightful position.
