Reinstate Quarterly Bonuses and Remove Wage Cap for Walmart Employees

Reinstate Quarterly Bonuses and Remove Wage Cap for Walmart Employees
The Issue
As dedicated employees of Walmart, we have experienced a significant shift in our compensation structure. We used to feel valued with the provision of quarterly myshare bonuses and annual raises. These benefits not only boosted our morale but also motivated us to deliver exceptional customer service.
However, over recent years, these benefits have been stripped away. Many of us haven't received a raise in over three years, despite the rising cost of living. The wage cap has stagnated growth for hardworking long-term employees who won't see any increase until the ceiling is adjusted again.
The impact is not only felt by us as employees but also by our customers who question what happened to our customer service skills? The answer lies in how we are compensated; people work according to how they are paid.
According to a study by PayScale, employee satisfaction increases significantly when there's transparency and fairness in pay (PayScale’s 2019 Compensation Best Practices Report). By reinstating quarterly bonuses and removing wage caps at Walmart, we can restore that sense of value amongst staff members which will inevitably reflect on the quality of service provided to customers.
We urge you to sign this petition so that together we can bring about change for all Walmart employees across the nation who deserve fair compensation for their dedication and hard work.
